Using Marketa
These terms govern access to Marketa websites, applications and related services. By creating an account or using the services, you confirm that you can enter a binding agreement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You are responsible for users, permissions, devices and activity under your business account. Keep credentials secure and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
Subscriptions and payments
Available functionality and capacity depend on the selected package. Prices, billing cycles, taxes and renewal information are shown before confirmation. Changes to packages for new purchases do not silently alter an existing confirmed subscription.
Fees are payable as presented through the service. Suspension or cancellation may affect access, but obligations and records that must survive termination remain enforceable.
Operational responsibility
Marketa supports business operations but does not replace professional accounting, tax, legal or regulatory advice. You remain responsible for reviewing transactions, configuring taxes and statuses, maintaining appropriate approvals and complying with laws that apply to your business.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Marketa reliable and secure. Maintenance, connectivity, third-party services or exceptional events may temporarily affect availability. Features described as coming soon are not part of the current service until formally released.
Ownership and licence
Marketa and its licensors retain rights in the software, brand, documentation and service design. We grant customers a limited, non-transferable right to use subscribed services for lawful internal business purposes. Customers retain rights in the business data they provide.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, unlawful activity, material breach or legal requirements. Where practical, we will provide notice and a route to resolve the issue.
Liability and governing terms
To the extent permitted by law, Marketa is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Any direct liability is limited as permitted by applicable law and the confirmed service agreement. These terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
